Shipment and Purchases

Upon placement of your order please check your confirmation email immediately to be sure that your "ship to" address is correct. If your address is incorrect, please contact Redi Shade, Inc. immediately. Once a package has been shipped, there will be a redirect fee charged to you should the address need to be changed while in transit. A confirmation of your order and a copy of your receipt will be emailed to you. If you do not receive a receipt within two hours of placing your order, please contact us immediately. (Please note, some email receipts may be marked as spam and be in your "junk email" folder). Orders will be shipped within two business days of placing your order.

Shipping costs from Redi Shade, Inc. will not be refunded or credited under any circumstances. All costs for return shipment are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise stated and approved in writing by Redi Shade, Inc.

It is the customer's responsibility to inspect products when they are received. Product damage must be reported to Redi Shade, Inc. within 3 business days of receipt of package to be eligible for damaged product credit. Merchandise must be returned in its original condition with all packing materials. If a package somehow arrives entirely damaged, please do not accept the package and call us immediately.

Online payments must be made with Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express® or Discover®. You agree to pay all product and subscription fees, and any other charges incurred in connection with your user name and password for purchases, including any applicable taxes at the rates in effect when the charges were incurred. We will bill all charges automatically to your credit card. Subscription fees will be billed at the time of shipment. Unless we state in writing otherwise, all fees, or charges are nonrefundable. All pricing, fees, and other associated charges are subject to change without notice.

Online Product Color Accuracy
Important information about computer monitors: We make every effort to show accurate colors on our website but due to variations in computer monitors, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of colors presented on-screen with actual products. Please order free swatches to ensure color accuracy.

Important information about back lighting: Colors shown on our website may or may not be backlit.  When a blind or shade is hung in your window, sunlight will backlight fabrics.  Backlighting can highlight and change the appearance of fabric color, textures, and patterns. Some room darkening fabrics are not affected by backlighting.  You can examine the effect of backlighting by ordering free swatches and holding them up to your windows.

Shipping Restrictions
Redi Shade sells and ships products only within the fifty states of the United States of America, or to Canadian provinces. No shipments can be made to a Post Office Box or APO/FPO addresses, United States territories/possessions, or addresses outside the United States or Canada.  Canadian customers are responsible for any import duties or taxes associated with their order.

Redi Shade ships Standard UPS Ground to the 48 contiguous states.  UPS estimated shipping days (not including order processing) for UPS Ground is: 

      To the East Coast: 5 to 7 business days
      To the Mid-West: 3 to 5 business days
      To the West Coast: 1 to 3 business days

Redi Shade ships UPS Air to AK and HI, and UPS Standard to Canada (special rates apply to these shipments).   If you are registered with Redi Shade you may check your account for a shipping status, or go to UPS.com for estimated shipping times.

During the checkout process, there is a checkbox labeled "I accept the following terms and conditions. "By checking this checkbox you are accepting these terms and conditions and are authorizing Redi Shade, Inc. to charge the credit card supplied during the checkout process.

Exclusions:

Custom Fit Shades
Custom Fit / Simple Fit is custom-made upon order to your specifications and we can only guarantee products that were measured correctly. Please make sure to carefully read our measuring instructions before ordering. If you are uncertain about how to measure for your Simple Fit product please contact Customer Service for assistance. Please understand that we can only honor the guarantee when your measurements are correct. Depending on the error, you may return the product for size reduction, or we can have it remade for you at a discounted price.

Cancellations or Modifications
Cancellations or modifications to your order can be done only before your order has gone into production. Production generally begins within 6-24 hours of the time of your order. If you need to cancel or modify an order, please call our Customer Service department. We will do our best to assist your needs, however, if your order has been put into production, we may not be able to adjust or cancel your order.

Corded / Cordless Shades
Corded and Size at Home products must be returned in their original condition; if they have been trimmed, damaged, or are missing parts for reasons not due to our error you will be refunded up to 50% of the item's price.

Hot Buys
Hot Buy products sales are final. These special deal products are not returnable or exchangeable and are excluded from warranty coverage.

Shipping Damage
Upon receipt of your order, immediately open and inspect it thoroughly for any manufacturing error, defect, or shipping damage. If you find your product incorrect, damaged, defective, please contact our Customer Service department within seven days of delivery.

Return Procedures
Returns are accepted only with prior authorization; you only pay return shipping. If we made a mistake or if your claim relates to shipping damage, we'll also refund you for the return shipping cost. You will be given a Return Authorization Number (RGA) and a shipping address to return the products. Returns must have an RGA  number for a refund or exchange. Save your shipping carton(s). Redi Shade is not responsible for supplying shipping materials, cartons, etc. for warranty or non-warranty returns. Shipping charges for size reduction or remakes are the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds
All refunds will be credited to the charge account used for your purchase within the next billing cycle.

Product Warranties
Beyond our 30-Day Money Back Guarantee Redi Shade Easy Touch and Simple Fit are covered by our manufacturers warranties. Warranty information is included in all shipments as well as here.

Changing Order
After an order is placed via our website, we cannot allow changes to the products on the order. The only changes allowed are to the shipping address on the order. Should you wish to change your order, please contact our Customer Service department to cancel your entire order. After canceling, you may place a new order via our website with any necessary changes you'd like made.

Canceling Order
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact our Customer Service department immediately. Upon cancellation you will receive an automated email alert for your records which summarizes your cancellation.

Please note: Changes or cancellations to your order can be done only before your order has been prepared for shipping. Shipping preparation generally begins within 6-24 hours of the time of your order. If you need to modify or cancel an order, we will do our best to assist your needs, however, if your order has been prepared for shipping, we may not be able to adjust or cancel your order.

Trimming & Installation

Certain products may require trimming; please refer to the instructions provided with your specific product. Redi Shade, Inc. shall not be held responsible for damage or injury resulting from the trimming or installation of any Redi Shade, Inc. product. By accepting these Terms and Conditions; you agree to indemnify Redi Shade, Inc. from any injury that may occur in the trimming, installation, or use of Redi Shade, Inc. products. Redi Shade, Inc. shall not be responsible for any damage or needed repair caused by the improper installation of products.

The site uses cookie and tracking technology. Cookie and tracking technology are useful for tracking the number of visitors to the site, and how visitors use the site. It can also help our customers when they visit the site again.

Payment & Order Processing
You may pay for your order with one of the following major credit cards: Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, or Discover Card®.

The estimated shipment date on your order is based on product availability, payment processing time, and manufacturing processing time and does not include transit time. Order processing will not begin until we receive all the information we need and full payment for the order. Orders placed on the weekend or on a holiday will begin processing the next business day.

Redi Shade makes every effort to provide current and accurate information relating to our products and prices, but does not guarantee the currency or accuracy of any such information. Information relating to Redi Shade’s products is subject to change without notice. 

Prices are subject to change at any time prior to Redi Shade’s acceptance of your order. Prices that appear on the site are Redi Shade MSRP prices unless otherwise indicated. Redi Shade MSRP prices are not intended to represent the price of Redi Shade products at other retail stores.  Prices at other retail stores are set by the retailer.
 
Shipping & Handling
We will begin processing your order within 6 - 24hrs of receipt. Once your product is made, with our standard shipping, delivery time is approximately 3 - 7 additional business days. Different types of window treatments are often made in different manufacturing facilities. For the fastest delivery, we ship each product to you as soon as it is ready. Most products are shipped via UPS. Oversized items will be shipped via freight carriers.

In the rare event your shipment is delayed more than 14 days after the date of your order, Redi Shade will attempt to notify you by email, using the email address you provided with your order. If you elect to cancel the order, Redi Shade will issue a refund.

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to PO, APO, or FPO boxes.  We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or national holidays.

Sales Tax
Redi Shade collects and remits sales taxes as required by law on purchases made via our Online Store. We collect sales tax in the following states: CA, NC. Taxes are calculated in real-time at the point of checkout and in the "quick quote" feature when viewing your shopping cart.
